Introduction
Let’s cut to the chase. We built this IP65 waterproof infrared heater to solve a real headache: keeping plants running without the constant stress of maintenance. The whole idea was simple. Give you serious heat, right where you need it, and make the heating element something you can actually swap out when it’s time. Forget about tossing the whole unit. This is a modular system, built around a heating tube you can actually service.
Technical Deep-Dive
This heater runs on a 400V setup, the kind you’ll find in most industrial spots. That voltage lets us pack a ton of power into a small footprint. The 300mm tube length really focuses the heat, so you’re not wasting energy heating a giant area. You get control right where you want it. At 2500W, it’s got the muscle for demanding jobs. But, with that kind of power comes a heads-up. You’ll want to make sure the equipment and wiring around it can handle the heat and the current.
Material & Design
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. It’s there for a reason: it heats up fast and holds a steady temperature. That halogen gas does a lot of heavy lifting, shielding the filament so it lasts way longer. The tube itself is coated to take a beating from water spray and dust—that’s the secret behind its IP65 rating. Wiring it up is a breeze, thanks to the R7s connector, a standard you’ll recognize. And the modular design? That’s the real win. Swapping out the heating tube takes minutes, not hours.
Application & Benefits
Out in the real world, this means less downtime. When a tube finally gives up after years of service, your team doesn’t have to replace the entire heater. They just pop the old one out and snap the new one in. That kind of modularity makes your maintenance plan predictable. You can plan for a 5-year replacement cycle without having to budget for a complete overhaul. For the engineers, it means less spare parts cluttering up the shelves and getting machines back online faster. Production lines just keep moving.
